Scorpion

Scorpions are found in warm and dry temperate regions, and are mainly found in the deserts of south-west America. It mainly feeds mainly on spiders and insects. Scorpions has a venomous sting supplied by a pair of poison glands. This sting is painful but rarely fatal. European settlers in the American West would normally shake out their boots and clothes before putting them on because of the fear of scorpions.
